Frederik Hellmann (1963) successfully completed his studies at the Hogere Zeevaartschool in Amsterdam (1990-1993), qualifying as a master mariner on all ships. After finishing the Middelbare Zeevaartschool in 1982, Frederik started his nautical career as an AB for Sylvia Cargo. He then moved on to positions as second and first mate for Smit-Lloyd and Wijnne & Barends, where he acquired experience with supply and merchant navy vessels.
